Amazing Art!

This week at our Summer Library Club we are getting creative and making art! We're hosting some workshops inspired by Hervé Tullet's work and his book Art Workshops for Children. Hervé Tullet is the artist behind the great picture books Press Here, Mix it Up!, and so many more! Some of the art we make this week will be featured permanently in our meeting room, so come by and check it out!

The Great Outdoors

Tomorrow is officially the first day of summer! It's time to get outside and enjoy the natural world. This time of year is perfect for exploring, playing, and creating outside. Kids are naturally curious and playing outside gives them many opportunities to follow their interests, explore nature, experiment with different materials, and learn a lot while having fun! Whether you're camping, out on the lake, at a park, or in your backyard, these books have some great ideas for games, projects, activities, and experiments to try out with the kids in your life this summer.

Under the Sea

We are kicking off the summer with a drop in activity for all ages this week! Stop by anytime this week when we're open to make faux stained glass sea life pictures. All of the supplies are available at the Children's Desk.
