Not sure about that clue and code? We'll fill you in...it was the first clue and code for AWARE in Evansville's Diversity and Inclusion scavenger hunt. We are very excited to be partnering with AWARE on the scavenger hunt, and we had a lot of fun being the first answer to the clue! If you missed out on the first week, you have plenty of other opportunities to join in.
Each week the location of the lock box will change. AWARE will release the weekly lockbox clues and codes on Sundays at 5:00 PM on their Facebook page. Once you find the lockbox, you will need to enter the 4-digit code to access the packet inside. The packet includes activity sheets, a game, and a raffle ticket. The raffle tickets can be submitted into the Weekly Raffle box that is kept at the library near the Youth Services desk. Entries from the Weekly Raffle will also be entered into the Grand Prize box. On Monday, August 10, AWARE will hold the Grand Prize drawing.Want to earn some extra raffle tickets? You're in luck!
Summer reading is in full swing! This year you can participate in one of three reading challenges: Children, Teens, or Adults. A brief description of each reading challenge is listed below. We are also offering summer crafts for all ages. All kits will be individually packaged and labeled for the recommended age group (preschool, kids, teens, and adults). You're welcome to take the kit home or to complete them in our Multipurpose Room or outdoor Children's Patio.

On June 7, the Eager Free Public Library moved into Phase 4 of reopening since closing last year. This week's blog post will cover what you can expect when using the library while we are operating under this phase.
