AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT: ANNE TYLER

Next month we will be reading Anne Tyler's A Spool of Blue Thread for book club.  This novel tells the story of Abby Whitshank and how she fell in love with Red in the late 1950s.  It explores where the family came from and carries through to Abby and Red's grandchildren.

Anne Tyler is a Pulitzer Prize winning novelist as well as a short story writer and literary critic.  She won the Pulitzer Prize for Breathing Lessons, the Janet Heidinger Kafka Prize for Morgan's Passing, and the National Book Critics Circle Award for The Accidental Tourist.
