Magic Tree House Read Alikes

This month at Book Buddies we are reading Dinosaurs BeforeDark, the first book in the ever popular Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne. This book was published in 1992, and since then there have been 33 books in the original series, 11 Merlin Missions (these books are a bit longer and targeted towards older readers), and 42 Fact Tracker companion books published. To say that the adventures of Jack and Annie are popular would be an understatement!

These books follow the adventures of two siblings through space and time in a magic tree house. They are great for kids beginning to read independently or as read alouds. If you know a kid who loves Magic Tree House, try some of these other similar series.
