As you probably already know, this year's Summer Library Program is called Imagine Your Story. This includes a wide variety of subjects, one of which is fairy tales. Fairy tale retellings have become pretty popular over the last several years. These can be perfect if you need a magical escape from the real world or maybe want to read your favorite tale from the villain's perspective.
If you also still believe in 398.2 (the call number for fairy tales in the Dewey Decimal System), then give these a try! Please don't be turned away by the Young Adult label because these modern takes on fairy tales are perfect for adults too.
