We wanted to highlight a few new books that we are excited about!
My Friend Earth written by Patricia Mclachlan and illustrated by Francesca Sanna
This beautiful book is an ode to our planet and all of the beautiful natural elements we have around us. The artwork is made with die-cute pages adding to a sense of discovery as you turn each page.
Tomorrow Most Likely words by Dave Eggers and pictures by Lane Smith
"Tomorrow most likely there will be a sky. And chances are it will be blue. Tomorrow mostly likely there will be a squirrel. And chances are his name is Stu." So beings this lovely book. It's sweet and funny and might inspire you to write your own poems about what you will find tomorrow most likely.
The Boring Book by Yoshitake Shinsuke
This funny book was originally written in Japanese and translated to English. A bored child contemplated what it means to be bored and and what is truly boring. It makes for a story that is anything but boring and the small, detailed illustrations have a lot to explore!
There are lots of other great new books for you to check out as well!
