Banned Books Week is just around the corner, and this week's blog post is here to get you ready. Celebrating the freedom to read, Banned Books Week is an annual event that takes place every September. This year it runs from September 18 through September 24. The books featured during this week have all been targeted for removal and/or restriction in schools and libraries. Banned Books Week attempts to discuss the harms of censorship and promote the unifying power of stories.
