Every August the Antemeridians Book Club reads a work of nonfiction, so this week we are featuring a list of recent nonfiction bestsellers as well as other popular and well-received works over the past several years.
Nonfiction works attempt to convey information only about the real world, rather than stemming from the imagination. Oftentimes, nonfiction will present topics objectively using historical or scientific data. However, some nonfiction can be more subjective when discussing opinions on various topics. Many subgenres exist within nonfiction such as biography/autobiography, history, travel, philosophy, religion/spirituality, science, self-help, medical, craft/DIY, cooking, health/fitness, parenting, and many more.
