program, I’m going to highlight some wonderful picture books about kindness
today – great for reminding people of any age that you don’t have to have super
or special powers in order to be a hero!

- A Sick Day for Amos McGee by Philip C. Stead, illustrated by Erin E. Stead
- The Invisible Boy by Trudy Ludwig, illustrated by Patrice Barton
- A Home for Bird by Philip C. Stead
- Kindness is Cooler, Mrs. Ruler by Margery Cuyler, illustrated by Sachiko Yohikawa
- Little Bird by Germano Zullo
- Pinduli by Janell Cannon
- Because Amelia Smiled by David Ezra Stein
- Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters: an African Tale by John Steptoe
