Start by visiting our website at als.lib.wi.us/EFPL, and click on "My Account" on the right side of the screen. You will be prompted to enter your library card number and PIN. Once you are logged in, you can start searching for items.
If you have a specific item you are looking for, then you can type the title into the search bar. You can also search by author or subject. If you aren't sure what you are looking for, you can hover over the different categories that are under the search bar (Non-Fiction, Movies & TV, etc.). Then, click on the subcategory that interests you. After the list of results is populated, you can narrow down your search using the filters on the left side of the screen. You can also change how the items are sorted.
Once you find an item that you would like to check out, click "Place Hold." From there, you can search for more items, or you can log out. Once your items have been pulled from the self, a staff member will call you to set up a pick up date and time.
When you are logged into your account, you can see a list of your current checkouts, current holds, and register for the favorite author club. The favorite author club will automatically place holds on new titles that are released by the authors you select.
