LEAVING TIME

Next month's book club will discuss Leaving Time by Jodi Picoult.  Picoult is a best-selling author and has published over 20 novels.  Her latest, Small Great Things was published last year.

Leaving Time is the story of Alice Metcalf, a scientist who studied grief among elephants.  Years after her disappearance, her daughter Jenna decides to look into her mother's disappearance.  Jenna contacts a disgraced psychic and a detective for help.  Did Alice abandon her family, or did something else happen to keep her from returning home?
